If you are a high school student or happen to know a high school student looking for volunteer hours, Minor Hockey could use your help. As a fundraising activity grocery receipts are collected from Valu-Mart. The total amount of the receipts needs to be added up before we can return them to the store. IP Fun Day!!

How to Register
Complete a registration form available here (.doc or .pdf), in the lobby of the Deep River Town Hall, and at the Public Library, Chalk River. New players must include a photocopy of their birth certificate.Mail the form and cheque or money order to:

Register in person by attending a Registration Night, Wednesday, August 5, 7pm - 9pm Chalk River Resource Centre or Thursday, August 6, 6:30pm - 8:30 pm Deep River Town Hall lobby.
Payment
Please do not mail or drop off cash. Payment is due in full or by post-dated cheques at the time of registering. You have the option of paying with two cheques post-dated for September 1 and December 1. Please note that we cannot consider your player registered without the post-dated cheques or other payment, and outstanding fees from last year must also be settled.Fees
Fees for 2009/2010 will be $400.00** per player. For families registering more than two players, first two are full fee, third and more are $225.00 each.After September 1 the fee will be $450.00 (pending room on teams already formed)
**Additional fees will apply to players on Rep Teams commensurate with additional ice time required for those teams.
Cut-off Dates and Rep Tryouts
The cut-off date is September 1. Registrations are numbered in the order of paid receipt. Registrations received after September 1st will be subject to a late fee of $50.00 per player. In the event that we do not have enough coaches, registrations received over and above the Hockey Canada limit of 19 players per team may be put on a waiting list.Players wishing to participate in Rep hockey must indicate their interest on their registration form to be eligible for tryouts and must register before September 1.

Marie was the winner of the BBQ which was raffled off on Saturday May 23, 2009. The amount raised was $835.00. DRAMHA will be holding the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday April 29, 2009 at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the mezzanine at the arena. A revised copy of the Constitution can be found here, changes from the previous version are highlighted in red. In order for these changes to be formally implemented they must be voted in at the AGM. Volunteers Needed!
The 2009/2010 season is approaching. DRAMHA is looking for parents available to take on a volunteer role as team Trainer, Coach or Assistant Coach. Participating as part of your child's team is a rewarding experience, and doesn't need to involve a huge commitment or a lot of your time. The more people who step up to volunteer, the lighter the workload. If you are interested in participating in a formal capacity with DRAMHA as a Coach, Trainer or Assistant Coach, please contact any executive member.A coaching application form is available as a .pdf or .doc.
